Managing Partner of Euroaccounts

David Bua Monjil joined Euroaccounts as managing partner in 2003 with a clear vision: to build an international tax advisory firm in Madrid capable of offering foreign companies the same level of service and technical rigour as the largest firms, while retaining the proximity, agility and personal commitment that only a boutique firm can deliver.

With more than 25 years of experience in international tax and accounting advisory, David has personally led the incorporation, restructuring and ongoing advice of hundreds of subsidiaries of international groups operating in Spain.

Professional background

Before founding Euroaccounts, David built his career at two of the leading firms in the sector:

• Ernst & Young (EY) — where he gained experience in audit and tax consulting for multinational companies.
• Baker Tilly — where he specialised in international taxation and advisory work for foreign companies with Spanish operations.

This dual Big Four experience enabled him to build at Euroaccounts a service model that combines international standards with direct, personalised attention.

Qualifications and accreditations

• Degree in Economics and Business Studies from the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM).
• Chartered Auditor registered with the Official Registry of Auditors (ROAC).
• Trilingual: Spanish, English and French — enabling direct communication with clients, parent companies and tax authorities in all three languages, without intermediaries.

David is an active member of INPACT Global and IGAL (Intercontinental Grouping of Accountants and Lawyers), two of the leading international networks of independent audit and advisory firms. Through these networks, Euroaccounts coordinates tax and accounting services in more than 70 countries, providing clients with genuinely global coverage.

He is a regular speaker at seminars and events on international corporate taxation, and participates actively in the technical working groups of both networks.

Under David’s leadership, Euroaccounts has advised more than 500 companies across every sector and geography. His approach combines technical rigour with business pragmatism: every tax recommendation is assessed not only for its technical accuracy, but also for its real impact on the client’s operations and profitability.
